Barton's Clearing

Barton’s Clearing is a small neighborhood cul-de-sac surrounded by forest on both sides. It’s the last of three developments on Maguire Ave just off of Knapp Street. All the houses were built between 2009-2011. The most unique part of this neighborhood is that each house is set back quite a ways from the road–many have trees in the front yard so they are quite secluded and shaded. Instead of having a community green space located within the neighborhood, 10 feet into each yard is considered common space. The neighborhood demographic has been changing in the last few years to include many more families with children. Overall, Barton’s Clearing is a bit further down Knapp than some of the other developments we’ve written about, but still extremely close and ideal for anyone looking for some forest property.
